Power corrupts. Gilgamesh had all power. He could do anything he wanted, and so he did.

Nobody dared challenge the greatest fighter the world has ever known. So if you owned anything, he took it. If you had a son, your son would probably die in one of Gilgamesh's wars. And if your daughter was going to be married, Gilgamesh would spend the night with her first.

I feel myself slipping back in time. I am now living in the time of Gilgamesh. The people need a hero to unite them against the tyrant! Should I be that hero? Or should I organise the people and form an army? Or should I find somebody else to challenge him? Or appeal to the gods themselves? Or be cautious, and learn more first? Or do something else?
