Is Zak McKracken abandonware?
No. There is no such thing as abandonware. Software can be converted to freeware if the software creator wishes to do so after time, but there is no such thing as a "magical timeframe" where commercial software becomes freeware.

No - Again, this would be piracy. Mindbent does not support or condone piracy.

But my disc is broken.
That's why backups were invented. Contact LucasArts support and request a new one. They will tell you what to do to obtain a new disc.

Why are you so mean about protecting the copyright of a game this old?
This game didn't just magicly appear. People worked long and hard to make it. It is still sold by LucasArts and even though the residual checks from the sales probably don't buy the creators Porches anymore, they do help put gas in the tank. Besides, I still have my own personal morals and ethics to think about.
