Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders has always been one of my favorite LEC games and, like Full Throttle, lacks the broad fansite support of some of the other LEC titles like the Monkey Island series, Grim Fandango, etc. It may seem a bit conceited, but I like to think of myself as "Saint Ben - Patron Saint of Orphaned LEC Adventures". I tried, back in 1998 or something, to make a Zak McKracken fansite called "The National Inquisitor, based off the newspaper that Zak worked for - making an online version but due to a severe lack of html skills, having only Microsoft Paint as my graphic tools, and having to do "The Kickstand" as well, the project fell kinda flat.

Kickstand became my driving passion and continued to demand my attention. Luckily, it honed my skills with Adobe Photoshop and html editing and webpage design. Kickstand went though many changes and often copies of The National Inquisitor code/graphics found their way into the Kickstand directories - never being worked on, but making its presence known.

As Kick³ neared completion, I looked at the TNI code and decided it was time to revive the project. I feel that PHP is a godsend as the site you see is far larger than the original site and was created in about 1/3 of the time as the original.
