More original art (from 1963) showing Kirby was writing the story

Patrick Ford 9 August 2016 Kirby inked by Vince Colletta, LOVE ROMANCES #105 (1963) The splash page is signed by Lee. The lettering in the first balloon ends with the words "your bride" and the penciled lettering of those two words appears to be Kirby's. The penciled lettering in the heart shaped caption is harder to be sure about but it's my opinion Kirby's lettering is there as well as either Lee's or additions by someone else. The penciled lettering in the caption in panel two appears to clearly be Kirby's with the last word "thought" pretty evidently Kirby's. The story dates to 1963 and that places it by any account after Lee had stopped writing full scripts (assuming he ever did). It seems that Kirby wrote the story including balloons and captions and it then underwent a rewrite (to what degree we can't say) by Lee as well as considerable tampering with the artwork. Colletta has erased (ignored) the figure of a man in the top right corner. I assume the woman's figure in silhouette on the right was added by Colletta as well as the cascading hearts. Colletta has taken great liberties with every aspect of Kirby's drawing completely ignoring Kirby's pencil lines. For some reason a fairly large section at the bottom of the 2/3 splash panel was cut out and either repositioned or redrawn on a separate piece of paper and then glued down.
