Lee finally gave some credit, but too little too late

Too Little Too Late: Just before losing Wood, then Ditko, and ultimately Kirby, Lee gave each just a bit of the missing writing credit all were upset about. Kirby got his in Chamber of Darkness and concurrently, his Amazing Adventures Inhumans series. But it was too little too late as Jack finalized a much better contract with Infantino at DC.
Patrick Ford: It's interesting, though, that at the same time Lee was rejecting completely whole stories by Kirby including a complete issue of the FANTASTIC FOUR. Lee also rejected Kirby's "Morgan's Monster" story as well as Kirby origin of Galactus story intended for THOR.
