A Don Heck page from 1960 Patrick Ford 23 October 2016 Don Heck from TALES OF SUSPENSE #9, May 1960. Notice the splash page is not signed by Stan Lee. This would be assumed to be either an inventory script left over from some time prior to 1957, or a Larry Lieber script. Was Don Heck ever asked if he worked from Larry Lieber scrtipts? I don't think anyone ever asked. Has Joe Sinnott been asked? Someone could ask him. There does not seem to be any penciled lettering on this page. Aaron Noble: Patrick, I have the originals to this story and the pencil lettering, though faint, is visible. The main hand is a very neat all-caps lettering that I would guess might have been put down by the letterer. Here and there you can see small changes in Stan's hand. I'm on a deadline this week, but when I have a chance I'll put together a selection of enhanced images.
