Roy Thomas admitted that Kirby was involved in plotting (and later said the opposite) Patrick Ford 18 October 2016 This is pretty funny. Tom Brevoort (Marvel's Executive Editor) describes a conversation he had with Roy Thomas. Is this the same Roy Thomas who testified under oath that Stan Lee conceptualized all the characters and all the plots for books where Lee's name appeared above Kirby's? BREVOORT: Roy Thomas tells of speaking to Jack about coming back to plot and pencil Fantastic Four, with Roy doing the scripting. Roy claims that he offered to give Jack plotting credit and top billing, but that Jack wasn't interested in working that way--Roy says that Jack told him he'd pencil the book if Roy gave him full scripts to work from, but Roy realized that there wasn't much point to having Jack draw the book if he wasn't going to be involved in conceptualizing it as well.
