And we’re off!

Today’s the day… Many months in the making, our career break has now officially begun! After a 3:15am start, we were on the train to London by 5 and at Heathrow airport in plenty of time for our mid morning flight. It’s been a busy few weeks leading up to this point, culminating in a late night of packing, but now we’ve arrived at the airport it feels like it’s beginning to pay off (mind you that could just be breakfast kicking in…).

It’s been a long day already, but still tops most other Monday mornings (our condolences to anyone reading this from the office). Only another 24 hours or so before we reach our accommodation for the night. Easy!

We’ve got a JaM packed (hah) itinerary over the coming months, so to satiate our own curiosity we mapped it out yesterday evening. For anyone wondering, this is what it looks like:
