We anchor the ship on the other side of a small island, where any local people are less likely to see us.

It's a barren island, but has some interesting caves. The ship's geologist is excited. This is his chance to learn more about the hollow Earth. He told me briefly how a hollow Earth works, but I've forgotten already. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew don't like science, and they don't like hiding. They want to sail to the mainland and meet the local people!
Should I explore the caves? Or should I ask the geologist to explain the hollow Earth again? Or should we sail closer to the nearby land mass? Or do something else?
